Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ChatterRank, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal authority to enter into this agreement, and agree to comply with these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using ChatterRank on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

ChatterRank is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) SEO platform. The service includes:

• Automated SEO audits across technical, content, authority, AEO, and GEO dimensions
• AI-generated content briefs and articles based on audit findings
• Keyword tracking and competitor gap analysis
• AI visibility monitoring across platforms including ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity
• Automated performance reports
• WordPress plugin for auto-publishing articles as drafts

We reserve the right to modify, add to, or discontinue features at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for material changes.

3. Account Registration

To use ChatterRank, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration
• Keep your account information updated
• Maintain the security of your password and not share your credentials
• Notify us immediately at legal@chatterrank.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscription & Payment

Free Trial

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start. At the end of the trial period, you will be invited to choose a paid plan. If you do not subscribe, your account will be paused and your data retained for 30 days.

Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, in advance, at the price displayed at the time of purchase. All prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) unless otherwise stated. We may update pricing with 30 days' advance notice; existing subscribers are protected from mid-cycle increases.

Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle. You authorise us to charge your payment method on file. If a payment fails, we will notify you and provide a 7-day grace period before suspending access.

Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain full access until then. We do not offer prorated refunds for unused time, except where required by applicable law.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use ChatterRank to generate spam, misleading content, or content that violates applicable law
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from our platform in bulk without permission
• Resell, sublicense, or white-label access to ChatterRank without a written agreement
• Use the platform in a way that disrupts or degrades service for other users
• Circumvent usage limits or access features beyond your plan tier
• Upload or process content that infringes intellectual property rights or violates privacy laws

Violation of these terms may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

6. Intellectual Property

ChatterRank and all underlying technology, software, algorithms, interfaces, branding, and documentation are owned by ChatterChimpz and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the platform solely for your internal business purposes during an active subscription.

You may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any part of ChatterRank without our express written consent.

7. Data Ownership

Your data is yours. This includes:

• Your website data and audit results
• Content briefs and AI-generated articles created by ChatterRank on your behalf
• Keyword tracking history and performance reports
• Any data you upload or connect to the platform

We do not claim ownership of your content. We use your data solely to provide the services described in these Terms. You can export your data at any time from your dashboard. Upon account deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

8. Limitation of Liability

ChatterRank is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that specific SEO outcomes will be achieved. SEO results depend on many factors outside our control, including search engine algorithm changes.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of ChatterRank will not exceed the total fees you paid in the three months preceding the claim. We will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

9. Termination

By You

You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and requesting account deletion from your dashboard or by contacting legal@chatterrank.com. You will have full access until the end of your billing period.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for material breach of these Terms, including but not limited to unacceptable use, non-payment, or fraud. For non-material issues, we will provide reasonable notice and opportunity to remedy the problem.

Data Export on Termination

Upon termination, you have 30 days to export your data before it is permanently deleted. We will send you an export reminder to your registered email address.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes with at least 30 days' notice via email or an in-app notice. Your continued use of ChatterRank after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you may cancel your subscription before they take effect.
